I need to get her running before I begin the restoration on this will be working saw. No fuel to carb, fuel pump isn't getting vaccum.

Vacuum is supplied via a small passage through the mounting gaskets and insulator block. They must be in good condition, this was a weak point on the old `lay downs`. That is a 40 year old saw, the carb diaphragms and gaskets are likely hard and brittle. Also replace the fuel line and filter.
FWIW, that is a heavy slow revving dinosaur. You are a better man than I if you can pack it around all day :lol:

When I first had the old girl going I did, It wasn't that bad, (Now remember, I'm young and stupid, only 20 and more than likely the youngest one here), I have replaced them, and rebuilt the carb. And the weight has an advantage when your bucking up trees. :roll:
