Pionjar 120 Maintenance Question

Postby luckygarcia3 » Sun Apr 29, 2012 5:49 pm

Hello - I have a question, I'm in dire need of help. I have a Pionjar 120 that I've had for years which works great, however, I had to replace one of the belts and after I did that I can't seem to fit the starter cover back on, properly at least. I think it has to do with the four balls inside that go inside the clutch. After I fit the starter cover on and pull on the starter rope the clutch turns, just once and then when I pull on the rope again the clutch doesn't turn anymore. I had to take the cover back off, re-arrange the balls and when I do the process all over again, the clutch only moves once! Therefore it's never going to start if I can't get the clutch to turn. What's wrong? Should the balls be in a particular position? Any ideas? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
