Heck, I would just go ahead and fix it myself. The last warranty work I had done was on a '68 Buick Skylark with a scratched window from a protruding screw.
INSPECT AND REPAIR AS NECESSARY

You know I thought about doing just that Norm. If it wasn't for the fact that I had problems with it right from the start I probably would. I also wouldn't bother with the warranty if I thought it was my fault, or if it was a Chinese import I purchased for couple hundred bucks. I know RIDGID doesn't build high end pressure washers. I just expected more from a company that have been manufacturing good quality pipe fitting and plumbing tools for many years. Which brings me back to my original post message, if you can, buy from a dealer. They might not be any good either but at least you can talk to them face to face.
