The number you posted doesn't come up on the Sears site and I can't find a 287 number in my old books. Double check the mod number. It could even be a Canadan model? If nothing else call the 1800 number they give for parts, those young people are real good with customers, just tell them you can't find what engine it is.
I might add, if it does not come up on their web site, could be a couple reasons. One, it is too old to be there. 2. Wrong number given. All it takes is one number off and the computer won't find it. Good luck. Carl
