I pulled the float bowl off and float and needle valve attempted to clean it as best I could with spray gumout carb cleaner and adding additional Seafoam. It was able to run off choke but rough, so I used partial choke to richen it up and it ran smooth enough to provide power.
Now to get it back to 100%. Does anyone know where a B&S service manual and breakdown of that carb is available and the settings? The power jet screw(?) has stops on it to prevent much more than a quarter turn adjustment. The unit has hardly been run and probably needs cleaned and run regularly rather than removing the carb and installing carb kit. Would you agree? I guy that manages and does setup and small engine repair of a local lawn garden shop recommends always using premium gas. Thanks.
