Does anyone know where I might find a parts manual for this online?
So I'm wondering if I should buy a carb rebuild kit...

I first put gas only into the carb but none in the tank and it runs for a few seconds and puts out a white smoke. But if I add gas to the tank after this, it won't start at all! I got it to run for a couple of minutes once but it ran rough and if I didn't have the throttle wide open it would stall and eventually did. It seems to be spitting gas out of the front of the carb. A good carb cleaning link is appreciated. So I'm wondering if I should buy a carb rebuild kit or just get a new carb. I had a similiar problem with a weedeater and it turned out to be a broken deflector but I don't know if there one on cylinder intake. Does anyone know where I might find a parts manual for this online? As always suggestions/opinions/tricks/stories are welcome.

Now I noticed that the cutting head turns on any speed, slow or fast . Sounds like clutch. Anyone who has an idea how to attack this problem, I'm all ears,
