3. The driven drive plate should only have to move a small amoutn but must move. Is the clutch bringing the plate up to the friction disk enough. If I remember right the machine should be able to be pushed when the motor is off and the clutch up. That's becasue the friction disk is not touching the drive plate so can spin freely and with it the gears for the wheels. While rolling the machine around if you pull down the clutch the friction disk will meet the drive plate and stop the machine.
