Any lawnboy experts?

Postby johnathon281 » Thu Nov 05, 2009 10:40 am

I have a short block in stock here # 677937 that i can't do a reverse look up on. It is discontinued part.
I would like to know what models it fits so i can sell it.
If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

If its old like 701 suggested it probably retailed for around 80 in the day. These days you might get a lot more then a hundred on Ebay. There are a hoard of rabid mad dog LB collectors or just users wanting to keep their old LB running that would be giddy about finding a brand new short block. I don't visit them but have seen LB forums, you might check at a couple of them.

If I were you I'd put it on Ebay and then post a link to the auction at Mytractorforum.com in the walkbehind section. There are a bunch of Lawnboy collectors there that may be interested in it. This time of year it may bring $100, in spring it might be double that. The thing is at your shop locally nobody is looking for stuff that old, but find a collector on the internets and you've hit paydirt...
