| Silver Rockcress (Arabis puberula) This young Rockcress plant is covered with early symptons of rust fungus (Puccinia monoica). It keeps the plant from growing and blooming properly and turns the plant yellow. In the process, the fungus forces the infected plant to turn clusters of its leaves into brilliant "flowers" (pseudoflowers) and propagates its own genes. | |
