| Spurred Lupine (Lupinus arbustus ssp. arbustus) (formerly Lupinus laxiflorus) Also called Longspur Lupine. Notice the spur at the top of the Calyx where it attaches to the stem and the short upper Calyx. It is commonly a lighter shade of blue to pinkish-blue in our area then Bingen Lupine. It has a narrow canoe shaped leaves and narrow banner without any white in it. This is the last Lupine to bloom in the shrub-steppe. | |
