  sagebrush_low.jpg - Low Sagebrush (Artemisia arbuscula) Although not a wildflower, the most common shrub on Meeks is Low Sagebrush. As you can see this is quite different looking than the Tall Sagebrush we see in Central Washington and looks similar to Stiff Sagebrush, only getting about a 12" to 18" tall. Look for it all over the top, but particularly in the more lithosol areas.
