  prairiestar_bulblet.jpg - Bulblet Prairie Star (Lithophragma glabrum var. bulbifera) Also called a Bulbous Woodland-star. Notice the red bulblets forming on the stem, thus its name. It only grows to about 8" tall and is much smaller then the Small-flower Prairie Star. Found all over the meadow, but earlier than the Small-flower Prairie Star.
