| Lowland Cudweed (Gnaphalium palustre) Also called Western Marsh Cudweed. Often see these in the wet areas near the creek, where they branch out from the central stem. I have also seen them away from the creek in the dryer ground where they send up a single stem 6" to 8" high and do not send out the side stems the plants in the wetter areas do. They do have flower heads all the way up the stem at each leaf joint and these look like pussytoes after they mature and open. | |
