| Tall Beggarticks (Bidens vulgata) Also called Western Sticktight. This is the most common of the Beggarticks in are area and although a native plant, its got a nasty reputation. Take a walk along a ditchbank in the Fall and you'll come out with a bunch of the little seeds of Beggarstick stuck to you cloths, like little brown ticks. The flowerhead has no noticeable petals on it, unlike the Nodding Beggarticks. | |
