| Western Serviceberry (Amelanchier alnifolia) Makes a large shrub like a Lilac. It has pretty, pure white flowers in the Spring and little berries that look like very small apples. A welcome place to find shade in the hot Sun of the Sagebrush Steppe. Can be confused with Syringa, which has only four petals and blooms later. | |
